Shell has different price scheme according to different charging speeds; it mainly depends on the using time of the charging point and each charging time will have a maximum supply of power.
You can still park your car in the designated period without a rush even the charge completed slightly earlier. You can also refer directly to the Shell Recharge website or app for charging speeds, detailed charges and power supply for each charging point.
Electricity offered
Based on the 60kW charging speed of the Shell Recharge charging device, the 30, 45, and 60-minute charging plans provide up to 20kWh, 30kWh, and 50kWh, respectively.
Overtime charge
Being considerate to other driver’s needs to enjoy Shell Recharge service, we recommend customer to get prepared 10 minutes before the charging session is completed. If the customer does not unplug the charging cable and drive the electric vehicle away within the specified time, the system will record and charge HKD 5 per minute as the occupancy fee from the 5th minute after the timeout.

Customers can scan the QR code near the Shell Recharge charging facilities to pay directly on the Shell Recharge website or via the downloaded Shell Recharge app. Both the website and the app offer multiple payment options including credit card, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Please note that you must use your phone's default browser to make payments.
