Shell 超凡喜力機油的效能表現，Shell 研發出 PurePlus 氣製油合成技術，以天然氣液化為基礎油，配以自家品牌另一獨家專利添加劑配方 – ACT 活性潔淨技術，務求打造 Shell 超凡喜力為「更接近原廠級潔淨水平」(註1)　的全合成機油。以 PurePlus 氣製油合成技術製作的基礎油，幾乎不含任何原油常見的污染雜質；相比傳統的基礎油， PurePlus 氣製油合成技術能加強基礎油的抗磨損能力、黏度穩定性以及抗揮發性。特別留意是其強化了的黏度穩定性，此特點可以說是 Shell超凡喜力 0 W 系列的秘密武器，令機油在提供抗磨損保護之餘，亦能在整個換油周期穩定維持應有的黏度表現。\u003C/p\u003E\r\n\u003Cp\u003E精明的車主應該知道，引擎內的油泥尤如人體內的壞膽固醇，長久積聚後不但難以清除，更會影響引擎運作，加劇燃油的消耗。因此，機油的抗油泥效能對引擎保養尤其重要。由於機油是由基礎油和添加劑組成，而基礎油亦佔機油含量至少 80%
