Fast and universal charging
Shell Recharge station provides maximum 300kW charging speed, it will deliver around 50kWh electricity for a 15-minute charging plan respectively. We also provide other charging plan from 7kW to 120 kW in different charging point. One single fast Shell Recharge device can support 2 electric vehicles charging at the same time. Most of our fast charger is designed to support electric vehicles with CCS-Combo 2 connector in the market, meaning it’s compatible with most electric vehicles in the Hong Kong market.
The new electric vehicles which support higher speed charging can be charged from 20% to 80% in as fast as 15 minutes^. Other Shell Recharge station’s fast-charging can charge the electric vehicles from 10% to 80% within 40-55 minutes.
^20-80% battery level will be the fast-charging speed, after 80% will turn to normal charging speed.

Yes. Shell Recharge supports most of the electric vehicles in the market, but different electric vehicles have different maximum charging speed limits. The maximum charging speed of the car models on the market ranges from 50KW to 250KW, so the charging speed and time of each car will vary according to the limit and condition of the car battery.
